So many that I thought it was time for a full review! Are they comfortable?
They required minimal break-in time..
How do they perform over time?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They include a built-in arch bump that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.
Would you recommend them?
Yes! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them with a promo is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a neutral version would also be smart.
